By using our website or submitting information through our forms, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

This website provides information about our licensed home-based child care program and allows families to request tours, register for enrollment, pay an application fee when required, and complete enrollment-related forms. It also accepts employment interest submissions.

Use of the website does not guarantee enrollment, employment, or a specific start date. Enrollment decisions are made by HLS according to our policies, capacity, and licensing requirements.

Enrollment forms require a family reference number and the email address we have on file. You are responsible for keeping your reference number confidential and for providing accurate information on all forms.

When enabled, a one-time enrollment application fee (currently $80 per family) must be paid before completing online onboarding forms. Payment is processed through Intuit QuickBooks Online on a secure invoice payment page. Payment services are provided by Intuit Payments Inc. Payment methods on the Intuit QuickBooks invoice page (for example ACH bank transfer and PayPal) follow our QuickBooks Online invoice payment settings. We do not collect or store full bank or card numbers on this website.

Fee payment does not by itself mean a child is enrolled, that a tour will occur, or that a start date is confirmed. If payment fails, is declined, or is reversed, access to online onboarding forms may remain blocked until the fee is paid successfully or the matter is resolved with us.

The application fee is generally non-refundable once paid, except when required by law or when we confirm a duplicate charge or payment processing error. Refund or credit requests must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the charge.

Ongoing tuition and other program charges are separate and are governed by the written fee schedule and enrollment agreement provided at enrollment confirmation.

Families receiving North Carolina subsidized child care assistance pay a separate monthly parent fee set by state and county rules under 10A NCAC Chapter 10 (the rules call this a "recipient fee"). That parent fee is collected by us as required by law and is not the same as the application fee or private tuition. Subsidy eligibility is determined only by the local purchasing agency (e.g., Wake County DSS), not by HLS.

Complete program policies are provided in your parent handbook at enrollment and are not published on this website.

Some forms request your electronic signature and consent to electronic records. By signing electronically, you agree that your electronic signature is the legal equivalent of a handwritten signature for those forms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

You agree to provide truthful, complete information. Knowingly submitting false information may affect enrollment or employment consideration.

You agree not to:

• Use the website for unlawful purposes or to submit false or misleading information
• Attempt to access another family's enrollment records without authorization
• Interfere with the security or operation of the website
• Scrape, overload, or abuse our forms or backend systems

Content on this website (including text, logos, and design) is owned by HLS or used with permission. You may view and use the site for personal enrollment or employment inquiry purposes. You may not copy or reuse site content for commercial purposes without our written consent.

Our website relies on third-party services such as Google (forms backend, file storage, reCAPTCHA bot protection), Intuit QuickBooks (invoicing), Intuit Payments Inc. (payment processing on invoice payment pages), and mapping or hosting providers. Your use of payment links is also subject to Intuit's terms and privacy practices.

The website and forms are provided "as is" for the convenience of families and applicants. We work to keep information accurate but do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Program details, hours, and availability may change.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HLS is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the website. Our liability for any claim relating to the website is limited to the amount you paid us through the site in the twelve months before the claim, if any.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of NC, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in courts located in NC.
